Story
Hello Friends & Family,
My brother and I are fundraising to support the Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF)
The 2026 Kokoda ANZAC Trek for the Mark Hughes Foundation is set to be an unforgettable journey of endurance, mateship and purpose, taking place April 17–26 and led by MHF representative Kasie Sheridan alongside Ambassadors Kurt Gidley and Meg Nagle.
A team of more than 30 passionate trekkers will take on the legendary Kokoda Track, trekking from Owers Corner to Kokoda through rugged jungle terrain, steep climbs and challenging conditions — all in honour of those who served and those currently facing brain cancer.
The journey will include visits to significant wartime memorials and deeply moving ANZAC dawn services at Brigade Hill, creating moments of reflection, connection and gratitude that will stay with the team long after the trek ends.
Driven by a shared mission to make a difference, this incredible group is pushing beyond limits to raise vital funds for paediatric patient support — and with momentum building, they are on track to surpass their $150,000 fundraising goal before stepping onto the Track!
Our goal is to raise $8,000, and every donation—big or small—will help us reach that target.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
